Why Zaid Coat
Geared by their good intentions, and for lack of better alternative, architects and engineers alike are trying to do the right thing but they are using the old method of applying bitumen products. The bitumen materials lack the ability to present much-needed characteristics to provide the ultimate solution to the existing problems.
Zaidcoat is made out of liquid polyurethane to firmly protect and seal any treated area. We should no longer measure the efficiency of the layer membranes by its thickness; Zaidcoat system efficiency is now presented in microns. Once the necessary coats of Liquid Polyurethane are applied, they will perfectly serve the purpose to SEAL & PROTECT.
Zaid coat for that matter adapts to a variety of shapes and configurations
including pitched, muted, and modern domed or geometric shapes.
Unlike bitumen membrane, the self-bonding characteristic of Zaid coat makes it adhere strongly to the treated surface , the polyurethane components will penetrate the concrete slab to occupy any cracks , prior to perform its curing ability for energy saving and waterproofing purpose. it bonds itself to the existing structure and it reinforces it. The bitumen membrane is deprived from this important feature.
In the highly unlikely event that an accidental leakage on a treated roof slab is detected, the exact location can be easily identified in circumstances where Zaid coat products have been applied. However, spotting the exact location of a leak age when bitumen membranes are used becomes a hectic guess, because the bitumen membrane - which is not bonded to the surface of the slab - will allow the water to circulate underneath it from one location to another. |
